Two verses of rebuke have "jumped out" at me from 1 Corinthians over the past few days. The first is 1 Corinthians 14:20a which reads; Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. The second, from 1 Corinthians 15:34b, which reads as follows: For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
What ways do I still think like a child? What areas do I have no knowledge of God? This is a challenge for me in 2009. I need to have the mind of Christ, and I want to comprehend things that are only spiritually discerned, and I desire to understand the things freely given us by God (1 Corinthians 2).
