What a great quote! I think it is so easy to fall into idolatry, especially when it comes to knowledge, and that gained from books.
ReplyDeleteSo I am often asking myself the question, 'Are my affections in the right place?' and then, 'What encouragement do I hope to give others through what I may glean from things read in books?'
I think I need to ask myself these questions more often....
