On Kevin DeYoung's blog DeYoung, Restless, and Reformed, he's started a weekly study on social justice and the poor. He has two posts up so far, I've only ready the first where he addresses the concept of moral proximity equalling moral obligation. Very interesting, definitely recommend having a read.
